The MSUAA-NA Chapter's scholarship program supports deserving students of Mindanao State University, Philippines.
MSUAA-North America Chapter's Scholarship program aims to help deserving students finish a 4-year college degree. Students who, without our help, would not be able to enroll or finish college.
The program is implemented through a tripartite agreement between MSUAA-North America Chapter, an MSU campus and the MSU Alumni Association (MSUAA) Chapter local to the campus. The MSU Campus and local MSUAA Chapter covers the school fees, accommodation, mentoring of the scholars, and monitoring the progress of the program. The MSUAA-North America Chapter will finance the cost of the student's monthly stipend for the full duration of a 4-year college degree and other key costs, as maybe determined, such as, the cost of thesis.
MSUAA-NA Chapter has entered into a tri-party agreement with MSU-Naawan campus and MSUAA-Naawan Chapter to assist deserving students, particularly those from the indigenous tribes of Philippines, with their monthly stipends and cost of thesis from 1st year to completion of a 4-year degree course.
MSUAA-NA Chapter has entered into a grant agrement with MSU-Maigo School of Arts and Trades (MSU-MSAT) and a generous donor to assist deserving MSU-MSAT students with their monthly stipends from 1st year to completion of a 4-year degree course.
In celebration of MSU's 60th Founding Anniversary (September 1, 2021), MSUAA North America Chapter conducted fundraising for a giving-back initiative to raise scholarship funds to support a total of 60 scholars, i.e. "60 scholars for MSU's 60 years". This funds will be utilized for the Chapter's scholarship programs with the various MSU campuses.
